Any suggestions for pants…?
I am very tiny and starting to show at 11weeks, I am around 94 lbs now and 5ft tall. I work where I have to wear dress pants but my size 0 pants can no longer been done up. I tried size small maternity but they are super big EVERYWHERE. Does anybody have any suggestions to what do to for work clothes? I considered just buying bigger pants, but I don’t want to have to buy pants every month or whatever, that will become very costly. My grandma looked at sewing in elastic bands but due to the ‘low rise’ craze you would see the elastics. Please any suggestions would be helpful!
Thank you very much Lily, this is my first pregnancy and I had heard of the belly bands but did not really get the full idea of the use, thank you for describing that, I will try the elastic band idea with my jeans and see if that works, thank you so much!

The rubber band is a common tool used by pregnant women. The runner band is wrapped around the button hole to create a loop. This loop is then used to hold the button. This keeps the pants “buttoned” without actually using the normal buttonhole. This allows the expasion you need. In a few weeks, you may need to be more drastic though
4After the rubber band trick is no longer working, you may be able to continue to wear your pants by unzipping them. Leaving them unzipped will allow for several more inches of room for your growing belly. Of course leaving your pants unzipped is a bit embarrassing, so here is your next trick!
