Where to look for plus size maternity Clothes?

I’m plus size and 17 weeks pregnant. I need maternity clothes but am very broke. I’ve joined the Freecycle group in hopes of finding free maternity clothes but am having no luck. Can anyone suggest places to go for free or (VERY) cheap maternity clothes. I know that some people will suggest JC Penneys or Old Navy (or even Gap) but I know that Old Navy and Gap don’t carry the size I’m needing and while I’ve looked at JC Penneys online and they seem to have my size, the prices are really more than I can afford. So any suggestions would be great.

You should go to a resale shop or a salvation army store. You can also put an add on craigslist mentioning you are looking for cheap maternity clothes. You can also ask friends and family members for clothes that they do not want that might work for you. Walmart has a maternity section online and you can find really good deals on there. Especially in the clearance section. You can find jeans usually run $10-$20 on the Walmart site. Also another thing you could do is go to a cheap store and just buy sweat pants or yoga pants and some big tshirts. Since you are pregnant no one will expect you to look fancy. Old navy carries sizes XXL and you might be able to find something in their clearance department. Basically just check online at those stores and see what they have for sale and clearanced out. You could probably find some good deals.
