Son keeps pulling away while breastfeeding?

okay so he gets distracted since he is learning to look around so i got a hooter hider and it seems to help but what causes him to suck for a little while then violently turn his head. he isn’t needing to be burped but i try anyway. we start again and he’ll keep doing it and getting more and more mad. then i end up just giving him a bottle of pumped milk. any ideas?? should i give in at all??

My daughter did the same thing at that age, don’t give up and give the bottle. Try going longer periods between feedings, this is what I tried and then she would actually stay latched on.Also what position are you nursing? My daughter would do this when she wasn’t comfortable with the position I had her. Try repositioning too. But definitely if you keep giving the bottle everytime he gets frustrated he will definitely wean himself from the breast. Good luck!
