The market has seemed to ignore the growing need in the marketplace for plus size professional clothing. Finally, in recent years, that situation has changed, and stores have begun to offer an expanding range of clothing suited to the full figured professional woman. There is a greater variety of styles and sizes to choose from and should offer plenty of variety show you can avoid looking the same day after day.
Plus size professional clothing now offers the same fine fabrics, and muted colors that have been offered to professional men and women for ages. Envision the “uniform” of the professional. Grey or navy suit. Maybe pinstripes for effect. Possibly double breasted for an added sense of flair. For women the added choice of skirt or trousers.
Women have an added bonus of being able to “get away with” some more vibrant colors in the board room then men can. So, add a splash of color in there. Maybe a blouse that will get you noticed. Don’t go overboard here. Subtlety is the key.
Of course, always take into consideration the circumstances of the work place. Some businesses require a more somber attire than others. i need a formal gown for a 2 year old and a maternity formal gown for myself.?
its for a “white tie” dinner/ball for my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. we are re-making their wedding reception which was very very formal. everybody will be wearing very formal dresses (ballgowns) and tuxedos
for my 2 year old- i want something elegant not too cutesy- under $200, maybe a full length pageant dress? she is a size 2 (in kids of course).
for me i have no idea what to wear- i am 4 months pregnant- obviously needing maternity wear, if you could find me a very formal dress that would be of huge help. price limit for mine is around $600? nothing frumpy please!
