Would you be concerned if you were seeing these changes in your husband?
I am currently 7 months pregnant, and my husband has become obsessed with working out. He works out every night, sometimes for 2+ hours. I recently reviewed his internet history, and he has been viewing porn. When approached, he denied it, but later confessed. He also tells me he can’t believe how “huge” I am getting, and tells me to not wear some of my maternity clothes that are getting a bit tighter in the belly. This is not our first child, and he’s never been like this before. I have told him these changes make me feel unattractive and insecure. He denies that he’s unhappy with me, and says his obsessive workout behavior is to impress his brother, who is in top physical shape himself. (My husband only sees his brother every 6 months or so.) I have begun to resent the pregnancy now and am getting depressed that we aren’t connecting. I feel like he is searching for something (or someone) that I can’t give him. Am I paranoid or should I be concerned?
I hate asking but are you guys still having sex? If its gotten to uncomfortable for you or if he fears hurting you some how, it could be that the working out and porn are just a different outlet for him.
