How to plan the itinerary for the baby shower?

Ok so i am throwing my sister a baby shower in 3 wks…and i am wondering how to work out the itinerary? I want to have a plan but don’t know how far apart i should separate the dinner from games to opening gifts and all that stuff…Ideas are welcome thanks!!!! :)

Well you can’t really put a time frame on the games, but you can plan the exact order of events. At my shower we ate dinner first, then about 20-30 minutes later we started the games. Depending on what games you play and how many participants, it could take up to an hour. We played 5 games at my shower which lasted almost an hour. After that we served cake while I opened the gifts. That took about an hour also. One thing that I had at my shower that was really cool was a “Decorate a Onesie” table. There were plain bibs and onesies set up along with fabric paint. The guests were able to make my son something. Not all guests are comfortable with playing games so the ones that didn’t could do that instead. Plus I ended up with a ton of special bibs and onesies!!
