Baby shower guest list?
First of all i haven’t been to a baby shower before, so mine will be the first.
Is it normal to invite people I don’t know as in my MIL’s friends? She was rattling through the guest list and was adding people that I don’t know because she’s known them for a while and DH grew up around them. I said “but I don’t know these people” and she said “well it’s my grandson”

Mom’s/Mother in-laws will be that way. You just have to stand up and say how you feel. It is YOUR baby shower not theirs. So it’s up to you on how you want it. For mine I took over and did everything myself. I knew if I didn’t do it myself then I wouldn’t of had the shower I wanted. So you gotta take control and deiced on what you want and how you want it.
