Baby Names And Meanings 2009

If you are like me, you don’t want to settle for an “average”, run of the mill name, no, you are looking for something unique! Read on for more info on rare baby names!

We are expecting our third child soon, and as always, the whole name thing is a subject which is certainly up for debate. Sure, we could have a Matthew, or a Sally, but we really want something that is going to be unique. How many “Mikes” will be in his/her class?

This led us to do a search on rare baby names. I consider my name plain, and think that having a unique name could be an exciting thing. Of course, you have to make sure the name isnÂ’t just plain silly! The last thing I want is to encourage my child a lifetime of heckling.

So after reading through books and websites on the topic, I found some rare baby names I wanted to share with you:

Levi (ugh, I know! I donÂ’t care for it because of the whole jeans thing, but I wanted to list it)

Cade

Skyler

Kiana

Shaw

I know that whatever the name though, our son/daughter will definitely be a very unique and special little person! So before you put too much pressure on yourself to come up with a name, take a step back, relax, and decide on something that just “feels” right!

So what name did we decide on? Well, if I actually shared that it wouldnÂ’t exactly be rare would it?

Next Thursday, July 2, 2009, I will be finding out the sex of my little baby. I came up with a name for a girl and a name for a boy, please let me know what you think.. Girl -” Angelique Marie Griffin” Boy – ” Adonis Christopher Griffin”.. I am open to suggestions also, I just really fell in love with those names they are unique and have wonderful meanings.
lol… I was think stewie and meg griffin…lol.. just kidding, but when i found out i was pregnant, thats one of the first things I thought of..

The first names aren’t really what I would pick, but if the names are meaningful to you then that is what really matters. Good luck and congratulations.
