Why is wrong with naming my baby Cain Judas?
Ok so im due in about 6 weeks and 5 days. And lately everybody has been kicking dirt at me for wanting to name my son Cain Judas Duncan. That will be his full name. I DEFINITELY am keeping his first name Cain and last name Duncan. So i ask what other middle names can you think of other than Judas that is unique, maybe biblical, and starts with a J. Help me out, and also explain to me why a middle name carries so much bearing?

And each of these middle names are good meanings!
I like Cain and Judas too, but I am very religious and don’t think I could use them. Cain in the Bible killed his brother Abel out of jealousy and committed the first murder. Judas (though it is simply the greek version of Judah, and there was more than one person named Judas in the Bible) is most typically associated with the man who betrayed Jesus leading to his death.
I think that Cain OR Judas (as a mn) could be overlooked, but using them both SCREAMS antiBiblical, which is probably the reason for all of the slack.
Perhaps you’d like Judah. Cain Judah would be nice. Or, maybe you’d like Jonas, Cain Jonas. Possibly Josiah (or the Greek Josias).
