Baby Items Checklist
Baby Items Checklist

This is the tough part. Where do you begin if your current home is packed full of years of accumulation? How do I decide what stays and what goes? HereÂ’s a simple checklist to help you in this processÂ…Â…and remember, itÂ’s never too early to begin planning.

Start by space planning to determine what will fit in the new home.

Sorting through your belongings:

Start in rooms that will be easier (ie: not being used).

Take it a room at a time = less overwhelmed.

Start with larger items to decide how much space you need.

Save the family photos & treasures for last.

Call a family meeting to distribute personal belongings and share your memories about each item before giving it away.

Determine what to keep, what goes to family & friends, what to donate, what to trash and what to sell (itÂ’s OK to re-gift).

When in doubt, throw it out. If you canÂ’t bear to lose the memory of an item, take a picture of it before you let it go.

Keep a list and mark all items.

What does go, arrange for an auction (including E-Bay), Garage Sale or Estate Sale.

Have a moving party and share the favorite memories of your home.

Pass on the history of your home to the new owner to keep the memories alive.

What all do you need for a baby?

I have a daugther so i know the basics, but i feel like i am forgeting things, do you know a site that has a checklist for baby items or can someone list me things i will need maybe it’ll help me realize what i have forgot to get
Hey you dont need to be rude. I said i know what you need i just feel like im forgetting something gosh. I know you need a crip, wipes, diapers, bed clothes, matress, stroller, car seat, pacifiers. I didnt say i didnt know what i needed i said i feel like i am forgetting something

There is a checklist at this website, however examine it closely you may be able to do with less and add as the baby grows or you find you need other items.

I thought it was tactless of other posters, by the way, to state you should automatically know this. Most new mothers need advice and information on child rearing, it is not genetic to know these things. Good Luck.
