Good Old Days!

Instead of just plainly writing about what I did today, ill be writing something different because for the past few days it has been very mechanical and if I keep on writing the same stuffs it'll get really predictable and I would be showcasing a bad image on myself leading a very boring life. Well today actually I didn't play cricket, i did something else but I'm not going to share that.

Instead Ill be sharing about something that I've loved, and have been loving till now and will still love doing it forever. I started playing football when I was 12 years old. My school back then was very famous in sports and especially football. In my school campus itself there was a football ground and stands for people to sit and watch just like a stadium. Whenever there is an inter school match almost half the school will be in the ground watching us play and supporting us. That much craze our school and my school mates had maybe for some it was an opportunity to cut class and be in the ground but still after being there they'd support us.

We ruled the west zone back then. We actually had beaten teams comprehensively by scoreline that included 10-0, 21-1. :D very uncommon scorelines but it all happened mainly because those whom we played in the initial stages were all amateurs. But after reaching the West Zone quarter finals stage we started having tough oppositions and it was time to get serious. Our coach eventhough he doesnt yells at anyone he expects us to perform well as the school had invested lots on football and wanted some recognition through it. So it was pressure on us. Most of my mates were like me, we do play around during training sessions but when it comes to match we will all get dead serious.

With very good understanding among us, we managed to win the West Zone Finals and were Champions in west Zone. Now the next tournament was the National tournament where in the Four semifinalist from all zones (West, East, North, South) play against each other and fight it out for the National Schools Football tournament.

This was really a very prestigious tournament not only for the school but also for us, as a win in this tournament would mean we all travel to Australia for World Schools Football Tournament.

We got through the rounds in this tournament with ease and in the semi-final we were paired up with the runner up school in the East Zone. It was that stage of the tournament where no team was weaker than the other. We knew we had to give our 100% to get into the final.

This match happened to be in a neutral venue and you wont believe, my whole school declared everyone a holiday just to turn up to the stadium and support us. To our surprise the same was done to our opponent school even they came in huge numbers to support them. It was a wonderful experience as they all turned in their respective uniforms so it was really a good sight as one side was filled with (light yellow top and pista green pants which is my school uniform) and the other half was (white shirt and grey pants, my opponent school uniform). Flags were all brought and it was as though a match played between two countries in the world cup. :D

We had full confidence going into the match but naturally there was slight pressure as lots were expected from us. Unfortunately we got one of our key players sent off for a rash tackle which eventually had a huge say in the outcome of the match. We lost the match 2-1 and were really dissapointed as victory was within our sights and a chance to travel to Australia would've been a reality had we won this match and went on the win the finals.

Eventhough we lost we got the full support from the school and our principal actually congratulated us. It was really a great experience one which I would never ever forget in my life. This was just one instance of my love which is football. There were plenty other achievements I've had through football which I will write about later. These are memories which will never ever get erased off from my head. :)

Cine Bites!

For some time now, Shahrukh Khan has been thinking of coming up with a grand scale special effects movie. Enter Shankar: who approaches him for Robot, his sci-fi epic. But after a few creative differences, the duo part.Shankar moves on, making his big project even bigger by roping in Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai, with the largest budget Indian cinema has conceived of so far. Now, Shahrukh responds by announcing that his Red Chillies banner plans to make the most expensive film in India with a budget of $25 million. Was SRK provoked/inspired by Shankar’s grand ambition? While at the Berlin Film Festival, Shahrukh recently spoke to the legendary Hollywood trade magazine, Variety: "We are dedicating the next eight or nine months to taking the best technicians from around the world and asking them to help us make the best VFX film India has ever made. It will be madcap, over the top. I want it to be as beautiful as 'Spider-Man' in terms of effects,"The film is yet to be titled but we roughly know the plot: what happens when a bunch of children have all their wishes come true. Are wishes that come true always a good thing, or actually a nightmare disguised as a dream? The director of movies like Cash and Dus – Anubhav Sinha – will helm this mega project. What will excite VFX buffs is that Charles Darby, the man responsible for some of the special effects in Minority Report and The Matrix has been roped in. Apparently he has set up a VFX studio in Mumbai. It will indeed be interesting to see what Shankar’s response will be. An even more grandly scaled movie than what SRK has in mind? After all, isn’t Shankar one of India’s initial special effects movie wizards?Such healthy professional rivalry will only help in the betterment of Indian cinema.

Fun Cards!

I along with my friends have devised a ‘FUN CARD’ (Credit Card size) which is made up of durable plastic to be sold. This fun card has a liquid crystal square and changes colour indicating different stress level or relationship after it is pressed by a thumb for 10 to 15 seconds. Right now we have this stress card and love meter card.

We are seriously looking for interested parties to promote these Fun Cards and would appreciate your kind assistance in introducing distributors (not necessarily in the same business) or any active sales person.

I will attach some pictures of the sample Fun Card for your better understanding.

Anybody interested in helping me out or who would like to purchase please contact me at this number:

the music legend!

Sripathi Panditaradhyula Balasubrahmanyam, (Telugu: is a prolific Indian singer. He is also known as S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, S.P.B. and Baalu in the media. Balasubrahmanyam made his debut in film music as a singer in Dec 15,1966 with Sri Sri Sri Maryada Ramanna, a film scored by his mentor Kodandapani. He has sung more than 39,000 songs since in more than 5 different Indian languages including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam. However, he has sung most of his songs in Telugu. He holds the Guinness record for having sung the most number of song recordings by any singer (the record for a female singer is held by Lata Mangeshkar). A gifted singer, he is highly regarded for his incredible vocal range, deep rich voice, and mastery of style, technique and control. These qualities allowed him expression across various genres of Indian music, and he has been highly sought after by many of India's film music composers. His approach to singing is methodical; he perseveres to understand the full meaning of the songs that he sings (many of which are very poetic) and the settings in which these songs are couched in order to most effectively match their requirements with his vocal delivery. S.P.B., though was very young, started singing for many different language films. As he became very busy, at times he used to sing even 17 songs in 12 hours at the recording theatre. He has also sung in Sanskrit and some regard his pronunciation of this language to be very good.

Sanskrit - A language that speaks!

Sanskrit is mostly used as a ceremonial language in Hindu religious rituals in the forms of hymns and mantras. Its pre-classical form of Vedic Sanskrit, the liturgical language of the Vedic religion, is one of the earliest attested members of the Indo-European language family, its most ancient text being the Rigveda.

The scope of this article is that of Classical Sanskrit as laid out in the grammar of Panini, roughly around 500 BC. Most Sanskrit texts available today were transmitted orally for several centuries before they were written down in medieval India. Sanskrit as defined by Panini had evolved out of the earlier "Vedic" form, and scholars often distinguish Vedic Sanskrit and Classical or "Paninian" Sanskrit as separate dialects.

However, they are extremely similar in many ways and differ mostly in a few points of phonology, vocabulary, and grammar.Classical Sanskrit can therefore be considered a seamless evolution of the earlier Vedic language. Vedic Sanskrit is the language of the Vedas, a large collection of hymns, incantations, and religio-philosophical discussions which form the earliest religious texts in India and the basis for much of the Hindu religion.

Sanskrit historically has had no single script associated with it. Since the late 19th century, the Devanagari (meaning "as used in the city of the gods") script has become the most widely used and associated with Sanskrit, yet this was by no means the case earlier. Each region adapted the script of the local vernacular, whether Indo-Aryan or Dravidian. In the north, there are inscriptions dating from the early centuries B.C. in the Brahmi script, also used by the king Ashoka in his famous Prakrit pillar inscriptions. Roughly contemporary with the Brahmi, the Kharosthi script was used. Later (ca. 4th to 8th centuries AD) the Gupta script, derived from Brahmi, became prevalent. From ca. the 8th century, the Sharada script evolved out of the Gupta script, and was mostly displaced in its turn by Devanagari from ca. the 12th century, with intermediary stages such as the Siddham script. The Bengali and other scripts were also used in their respective regions. In the south where Dravidian languages predominate, scripts used include Grantha in Tamil speaking regions, Telugu in Telugu and Tamil speaking regions, Kannada, and Malayalam. Grantha, though modeled on the Tamil script, was used exclusively for Sanskrit and is rarely seen today. A recent development has been to use Tamil characters with numeric subscripts indicating voicing and aspiration.

Be Happy!

If you would ask me, I would plainly suggest the following simple ways to remain cheerful forever :

-> Do what you like. If its too late, then like what you do.
-> Accept the past, don’t brood over it.
-> To be ever smiling, value the other person.
-> Stand in front of the mirror and smile with your heart. It reduces stress greatly.
-> Be optimistic always.
-> Keep telling yourself that you are the happiest person in the whole world!
-> When you get up in the morning , say to yourself ‘Today is a very cheerful day.. I am going to enjoy every moment of it’

cheers to all !!

Wait is Over!

The long wait ended and finally my project location was decided. After what I call a terrific and exciting experience, I somehow managed to reach Plano along with my wife.

The trip was awesome. Fortunately or unfortunately our flights were not delayed. The journey was pleasant. The only thing was that we reached Dallas at around 12 am. It took nearly 1 hour to reach the hotel in Plano. From the day we reached here, I was quite excited about the place. I thought I will be able to manage everything here. And actually I did!!

The Indian restaurants here are awesome! No words to describe. Both south Indian and north Indian were tasty... Yum!

The only problem has been the breakfast... How does it feel like to have bread butter jam, doughnut, cornflakes and banana every day... I mean EVERYDAY!?

Anyways I am enjoying the stay here in the hotel... Hope things turn out well after we move into our new home here... :)
